Who I am    Some words about me...    Going digital after 2005

Going digital

I made the transition to autofocus cameras when Z-1 bodies started to be affordable on the second-hand market. The transition to digital photography followed a different pattern, and mostly adapted to the availability of Pentax digital bodies: istDs, K10D, K-1. I almost quitted when Pentax took too much time before issueing a full frame camera, and when APS-C cameras were not seriously competing against smartphones anymore. I resumed intensive activities when Pentax K-1 became available. I am extensively working with photography in my professional activities (incl. research). I am currently preparing exhibitions and promoting my artwork.

My areas of interest did not change over time. Due to my research and consulting activities, street photography and urban landscape now play a major role in my activities. I am still present in sports photography and accept commissioned assignements in this domain, mainly in relation with karate to adapt to my wife's passion for this sport (and also taking advantage of her network).
